Even though it was in the 90s just this week (phewww 90s in MAY!), doesn't mean that I can't sauce it up Spring style. I am LOVE.ING. the gingham textiles that seem to be all over the place this spring. I mean, let's face it, what screams Spring more than gingham!? I absolutely went ba.na.nas over the article in the Sunday NY Times about the Cohen sisters, spec designer extraordinaires. As the article put it, the duo puts the spectacle in spectacles, to say the least.

All these specs got me speculating... What would be the perfect occasion to sport this over-the-top eye-gear!? More importantly, when would it NOT be okay to sport this eye-gear?! - Ummmm let's think... NEVER!
